This is an especially significant year for Allstate Life Insurance Boston 13.1 Marathon® "Half Marathon"! On September 15, running legends Frank Shorter and Bill Rogers will be participating in this race to raise money for The One Fund.
Additionally, to encourage runners to join in from across the United States, the running event has given Fifty States HALF Marathon Club members a $13.10 discount to run with these marathon icons on this flat, fast and scenic course, featuring miles of coastal views!
The next price increase is July 25 and the final day to register September 11th.
The start and finish of the running event takes place at Suffolk Downs race track in Boston proper. Medals for all finishers. Walkers are welcome, but there is a 3 hour max time limit, so the event is not really a walker friendly event unfortunately.
